Location: Townsville, Australia | Just had my new Orange Rocker 30 arrive today and it has done everything I wanted with the sound of the 1778T.
On clean it is better, to my ear, than the AER compact 60 I was going to use but have now sold to buy the Orange. The AER was a bit too sterile for my liking.
And ramping the volume a bit on the preamp lets it start to crack up. but swithc to dirty and it is distortion heaven. My son is going to be green with envy when he gets back from his mothers.
And the man in the shop said that you couldn't/shouldn't put an acoustic through and electric amp. Humbug |
