Any advice for a closet luthier, me, in removing the undersaddle pick-up from an Applause classic style?
I've heard they're delicate. Also I've heard of some magic goo that is spread at the bottom of the saddle hole before installing the p'up.

With the strings/saddle removed push up from the inside on the wire to the Piezo. If there is a "goo" it should be similar to an RTV or Silicone sealant I would think.
