Location: California | Does ovation have old or new baritone/longneck with traditional soundhole? A deep bowl or Xtra deep only. If not, I'm looking for a big body all wood baritone with cutaway. $1000 or less. |

Location: Upper Left USA | The USA made Ovation Longneck, DS768, only comes in the Elite Style. Used but nice $650-$1000 depending on timing and condition.
Tacoma uses their Acoustic Bass body and makes a Thunder Chief Baritone all out of wood. Its a "Wing" series so the soundhole is in the upper bout.
Do some internet searches. Baritones are still kind of "boutique" offerings. |

Long Neck
This is the second time around so you could probably get it for a good price. |

Location: Upper Left USA | With the Ovation Longneck you get the benefit of about 18 frets playable and the bridge is placed in the same spot as a 12 fret to body instrument.
Stonge's L 12 Proto was strung light as to be an "Electric Player's" dream acoustic with all that fretboard.
Put some Heavy's on one and drop the other shoe! |
