My house is number 10. What have you got for a National?. The factory will be on thier shutdown starting this Friday for two weeks so keep that in mind on your trip down to Simsbubble. You could drop it off at the offices in Bloomfield if you're down here during this time. Welcome to the club.

Anyone want to volunteer an email so I can send them to you to post? I think my browser is blocking some of the content in the site - is this ability to load images contained within in a pop-up window?

Best finished guitar I own. ![]() Some hazing has started over the past few years ... ![]() Sorry - a bit blurry. Damn digital cameras! ![]() Part of the eclectic quiver - Adamas, Fender Toronado with DeArmond GoldTone Pickups, Metropolitan Glendale - handmade, chambered body, Rio Grande pickups, old MAP guitar style (but this one you can actually play!), and a late 50's/early 60's Guild MK II classical. Missing are my ES-13LE, A National Resolectric, and a late 40's Kay Imperial which is in basketcase condition (cracks and all).

I picked this up from a guy in Bangor, Maine a decade ago for my brother, it had been in a Dixmont, Maine barn for 50 years, still had the original case, strings, warranty card and capo! The guitar was literally coated in copper oxide, wood and all. It's a green glue-chip duco finish, and has a submarine pickup in it (ala Bonnie Raitt). ![]()

He had the Kay with him when he was up in Greenland for three years during the ealy 50's, up at BW8 in Thule putting in an airstrip there. Tha guitar needs some help. I traded a sweet Les Paul Std for the Metro and have never regretted it. For its size, its extremely light and the pickups have a depth I havent heard in other solid (semi-solid bodies).
