Could someone explain the details on what is involved in a neck reset at the mother ship?
It will be for a early 90's legend.
Thanks !

Basically they take a HUGE saw and riiipp..... :p :D
Actually I had a neck reset done at the mothership and I could not have been happier when I got it back. It plays so much better since I got it back and the turnaroud time was excellent as well. Good Luck! ;) |

But your asking for details...not testimonials.
I'm not sure but I imagine that the neck is seperated from the body and shimmed or adjusted to compensate for years of tension and ageing. |

It usually runs in the vicinity of $175 including shipping, but the current rate would have to be obtained from Kim or John. |

I guess I was more concerned with the finish on the top of the guitar. Can the neck be removed and re-installed without harming a nicely aged finish?
