Who really knows with a proto? From the other auctions, he usually lets the bidders decide that. Good luck... should be an interesting week. (Pace yourself)

I doubt that I will be in the hunt for this but I live about an hour and half away. Might be worth just going down there and struming it to see what it is like. It really is a interesting piece.

I didn't realize that this actually has Adamas on the headstock ... are there any other Adamii out there with a wooden top?

Yeah, it has the Adamas style inlays, knob pointers and bridge, otherwise the equivalent of a SSB 1537.

It's out of my price range already, but for anyone who currently owns a 1537-4, this would be a great companion.
