This was my first real attack, and it was a close call. The auction on the Bay went down to the last minute with no bids, and I nearly got sucked into bidding. It was a minty 4 yr old Adamas W597 which was sniped at the very last moment for $750.

W597 listing on the Bay

Now that I've had my first GAS attack, future attacks are highly likely, right?

VERY LIKELY. Next time give in. Resisting can be dangerous. :D

And convulsions can ensue. I urge you to immediately pick up your best Ovation and play for at least an hour and a half!

Whew! That was a close one!

Now I'm suffering from non-bidders remorse! That was a nice guitar for a very good price. What do I know about prices on Adamas guitars, but at less than half the best internet price for new it sure seemed like a bargain.

Maybe a beer will help my recovery.

No such thing--"a" beer or recovery from GAS. Have several.

You will need more than beer. Three or four shots of wild Turkey with beer chasers, and you wont even remember why you started drinking.

Ps be careful what you eat not everything looks good the second time around.

To paraphrase oscar wilde, the only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it ... and buy that guitar!
