I concur on the D'Addario Pro Arte strings, but I was wondering why you suggested the high tension?

I don't know why it is, but I find the tied ends to be more secure than the ball ends. With more down force on the bridge. With nylons it's not that much of a hassle because even with rigorous playing you only have to change strings every 6 months.

Tied ends seem to transfer more sound/tension to the bridge/top...worth the hassle maybe..
