I've been trying to resist the GAS, but started watching a 30th Anniversary CL on ebay with a BIN of $1300. My wife's birthday was yesterday, so I resisted that one and Tuppy's Lennon until today. I called her and asked her if she wanted to save a few hundred bucks by buying my 30th Anniversary present about 10 months early. She told me to go ahead, and somebody had made the minimum bid of $1199. I stupidly bid it up once instead of just paying the BIN and somebody stupidly outbid me without paying the BIN. Just as I was trying to enter the BIN, I got a phone call and screwed up the bid. By the time I got off the phone and tried to fix it, it was sold for $1250.
I'll go back to plan A and buy one of Tony's when I'm in San Diego next year.

I hate it when that happens. Nothing like making a decision, then getting brain-to-finger dyslexia and losing all control.

I hear that happens when you get older... :D

By the way, in advance, congratulations on 30 years!

i had a similar moment of self stupidity about 3-4 wks ago. i was at the pawn shop down the street looking for a air compressor and was browsing at the guitars and there was a nice beautiful faded blue adamas for $550.00 with a case..i gawked at it for a few days then decided that i was gonna go to the bank and get the money out..well i got side tracked with my new folklore and forgot to get the adamas..i felt like such a moron!! ...we learn from our own ignorance..jason

I guess I am wallowing in the hog pen!

They are a great pair and have different enough voicings to make each sound unique. A wonderful set of guitars.

Oink! I'm already there. I'll just move up to a different level with the 30th.
