Probably wouldn't be that much more to send it over to the Mothership and have them drop a suitable back on it either. Then a small cut for a preamp and you'd be all set. From Time to time you will see a Breedlove proto or one of a kind show up. Ususlly in a Koa or with special materials or inly like this Ukelele. They are often crafted by Kim Breedlove himself and satisfy his need to create something wonderful. Is this Uke an example of that happening from the Martin factory back then? Something rarely made and perhaps a little indulgent but cherished 80-90 years later? | ||
