Location: Madison, Wisconsin | Went to see The Trans Siberian Orchestra last night for the first time. Wow, what a show. I've always liked the music but the production was AMAZING. They had frickin' snow machines in the rafters. Hats off to the roadies that have to put that stuff up every night and take it back down 12 hrs later. |

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada | I never miss 'em. They actually have 2 companies, one group tours east of the Mississippi, the other west so they can present the maximum number of shows in a short season. Usually, the original band is west. TSO is the old metal band from Florida, Savatage. TSO has one of the best tour productions around and sound by dB Sound Image; same company that has done the Stones for years. Word has gotten out in Vegas and the show has been moved to a bigger venue this year. Anyway, go see the show; something for everybody; virtuoso band with great guitar players, amazing violinist and usually 7 or 8 local hired strings + 8 or 9 broadway singers, the snow, and more pyro than you usually see these days. Advice; go to their website and join the fan club. You will get a chance to buy tickets a month or so before they go on sale to the public and you get a discount and some of the best seats, too. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | We use three snow machines every year for a
dozen shows. Cleaning up the mess afterwards is the real chore. Hats off to the stage crew. |
