There's a 2079 Custom Legend up for auction on eBay with no reserve and no minimum. The bid is currently $150, but with 9 days to go I'm sure it'll go a lot higher. But who knows, someone might score a killer deal.

Usually posting your intentions and level of desire here will invoke a gentlemen's agreement to back off unless you state "your limit" and it's clearly going to bring more. In that case $$ Talks... That said, is This the one?

Just thought I'd let others know about a potential good deal if they're interested. It's not often you see an axe like this with no reserve and no min bid on eBay. Now that I've hung around the site a bit I see this would be more appropriate in the sell/trade section. My apologies.

If this is (as it appears to be) a brick-and-mortar music store and the guitar's never actually been sold (just pawed at by the unwashed multitudes), maybe the full warranty would still be applicable?

Awesome guitar.Paid $1150 for mine which I thought was a very good price as it showed no signs of ever being used. I did have 2 issues;the set up was terrible and the case was really scratched up. The folks at Sweetwater did me right though...they had the mother ship send me some shims (there was only one under the saddle and the guitar buzzed up and down the neck) and a brand new case. Once the set up was corrected it sounds and plays wonderfully. Only thing now it's going to make me sick if someone gets this one for less than a grand!

Some deals will happen but if you like your guitar, and feel you got a fair price, never be "sick" when someone else got a better deal. My 2080 was that way. I stole it when I bought it off of ebay, but then saw another couple that looked like they might go less (auctions ultimately pulled so ???), I started to think, "I should have waited", but then realized I would have deprived myself of the instrument potentially for years. I waited for "just the right" Carvin Bass for 6 years now, and finally pulled the trigger after I realized the deal I was holding out for wasn't going to happen. No regrets.

And g8r, I put guitars up on the site (but I'm new too) especially things with lw BIN's that I still cannot afford. But if it looks good, and it's a new listing, I figger I might let some-one grab it.
