As some of you probably knows, I bought Sam's proto #11 "F" holes on Ebay and he's now in France.
First, I'd like to thank Sam for his kindness and it was a great pleasure to be in contact with him.

I'm very glad and proud to have this amazing piece of O's history at home and I'm so happy that he stays in the OFC family.
One of my friends said to me that this guitar is one of the "mother" of all our Adamas so it deserves a great respect.
That's right and you can trust in me to take care of it and to keep it in its original condition.

I'll take more shots during the week end.

Location: Atlanta,Ga.		Jerome,glad it got there to France in one piece..I hope you did not wipe the 30 year old "Ovation factory" magic dust off the guitar.It looks clean!! I never changed the original strings or wiped the dust off..I kept it as it was back when Charlie and the boys tested the guitar..I hope the mojo is not gone!

I've done it...

I'm probably a cretin but the first question from everybody was: "how does it sound???"
So I've cleaned it and change the strings. :(

It's hard to play because the action is high and there's some buzz but it sounds good for an "Old Lady" isn't it?? ;)
