Location: Snåsa, Norway | The volume knob on my 1619-4 (one knob only) rattles when I'm playing. It only happens when it's turned to the ends at 1 and 10, so it's not really a problem, but if there's an easy way to fix this I'd like to know. |

Location: North Carolina | You might want to loosen the set screw in the knob and take it off. Look at the nut that holds the pot into the side of the instrument and see if it's loose. This is probably the case and the solution is obvious. If, however, the shaft of the pot is loose within it's own housing, you'll probably need to replace the pot. |

| you can also put a felt washer on the shaft between the knob/nut... it will dampen and possibly eliminate the rattle.

Actually I mostly play unplugged and keep the knob on 5 even when plugged in to be able to adjust my signal level on the guitar. It's been like this as long as I've had it, I believe, thats 18 years. |
