Only kidding - I put Elixirs on my 12, just because I don't play it that often, and it's nice to have the strings last better for longer.
If you play it a lot, I wouldn't be able to tell you anything useful, I'm afraid...

Any other suggestions? Saw some disgustingly cheap Martins...
I'd prefer something with "Longetivity." |

Location: Utah | I have a nice Alvarez 12 that I bought new in 1978, and have tried a number of brands of strings. The ones I really like are the Martin SP Phosphor Bronze, XL. |
