Location: Australia | I know guitar companies have to be progressive (especially one like Ovation which is so technology driven) but I wish they wouldn't change everything.
No non cutaway models or deep bowls(except Di Meola model)no traditional raised soundholes or carved bridges etc.
My point is that Ovation have to realise that their company is over thirty-five years old and there are people who have been playing them for decades and who like myself want to replace their old (or stolen) guitar with one the same.
My beautiful carved headstock Adamas which I bought in 1996 was stolen and I can't buy a new one like it.Or if my 98' Custom Legend was stolen I couldn't get a new one like it either.
I would really like to see a line of traditional Ovation guitars it would only have to be a very limited number of models to cater to the long established Ovation buyer.
This is my first post.I very pleased to finally see a sight like this! |
