I'm considering buying a Balladeer off the internet. It's listed as a "Full Body Standard Balladeer". The seller doesn't have the model number or year posted. From the photos that I've seen, it looks like the preamp is a DJ-3 or DJ-4. I've noticed that the new Balladeers don't use this preamp. Were they ever used in Balladeers, or is this a red flag? The seller says the guitar is only a few years old. Does that sound right given this preamp? I've requested a picture of the label so I can get a model number. Any information regarding Balladeer preamps would be much appreciated.
