I been meaning to ask if anybody else saw those Gateway ads in PC magazine a few years back, showing this guy playing a Viper. It might have been the guy who is making TV ads with the holstien cow (I milked many who looked a lot like her, but they never said much, so I don't think they were her). Anyway, he must have really liked his Viper to feature it in an ad, and the ads ran for quite a while. I meant to save some of the ads, but I didn't, and I threw the mags away. Is there anybody here who knows anything about this ad and guitar?

It was an old Viper solid body electric identical to mine except a natural wood finish and it appeared to be in mint condition, that's what drew my attention. This was at least two years ago, and it was featured for at least 6 mos in a series of different ads. These were 2 or 3 page ads for Gateway computers and it seemed like there must have been an aficiando of the Viper somewhere there, as it had no relevance to the computers. I was hoping he might even be part of this board.
