Location: Shelton, Washington, USA | Yee-haw! Just bought a Fostex VF-80 digital multi-tracker. Finally, I can record these things I been lugging around for years. Got this one song... for 15 years every time I played the song, I could hear this one note that just had to be in the song, but it would take a second guitar to make it happen..... yesterday, I recorded it, then cut a second track just for the lead line and THAT ONE NOTE!!!!! It was perfect, just like I imagined it would be. That one note justified the purchase price for me! |

Location: Zion, Illinois | I almost bought a Fostex VF-08 last week to replace my Fostex FD-08. With mine I have to hook up external effects, compressor, and pre-amp (it doesn't have phamtom power). The setup takes up a lot of space in an already cramped room.
The VF-08 was only $399 brand new and I almost went for it, but instead I just moved my son's computer to the basement at his request freeing up all kinds of space.
Enjoy your multitrack,
