Several unrelated sources have informed me that they have been very problematic, particularly the Acoustonics 30, and the Acoustonics Junior. I've noticed that although they have a nice tone, they don't produce much volume (if that is important to you). I ended up getting a Crate CA60 acoustic amp.. The Crate line have (IMHO) exceptional crisp sound and tone. The "D" series (CA30D/60D/112D/125D) have DSP effects that are cool, but weren't worth the extra jinga to me. If I could afford it, I would own a CA125, but for now my CA60 does fine. Absolutely happy with the frequenct cut system, and the beautiful Harmonics! Check 'em out! Norse(anyone have a two button Crate footswitch they would be willing to part with?)man1 p.s. On e-bay, the CA60 usually sells for the same, or less than the Acoustonic 30 (200-300 dollars, I paid 225.00 for mine, and am VERY satisfied!).

I got it the best way a man could get one. My wife bought it for my last birthday. No need to beg for forgiveness, no promising it won't happen again, no lying about selling old gear to pay for it. And in your case, no promising to block all internet traffic to and from E-Bay. Come to think of it, maybe you shouldn't block E-bay. I might have to put my Fostex FD-8 recorder back on the market. The buyer said that they would send the money on Monday and would contact me when it was on the way. I haven't heard a word. And I need to sell it to, ah, pay for my new Fostex VF08 recorder. I couldn't help it, it was $399 NEW. And I promise it won't happen again... Bradley

I've got the pedal you're looking for but have no idea how to use it or what to use it for. Besides sending it to you, what do you do with a two switch pedal?

Just a thought from an old hippie with some imagination still left for a sound that ain't been heard yet. Who'd of thought that lighting sound came from a thin 2x3 thin piece of sheet metal? It can happen, ask Judy Tanuna - plays a mean squeez box - I love her and her style...

I gotta tell ya- looking at the title of this topic brought to mind a funny visual and this question: Is it possible to 'shred' on a squeeze box? If so, would she be considered neo-classical? hmmmm  [ August 01, 2002: Message edited by: Rich ]
