Location: Alexandria, VA | I'm looking for an old Balladeer, model 1111-6. Deep bowl, white top. It was the first guitar I ever saved up for and bought myself (in 1972 I think). About ten years, later, strapped for money, I sold it. I've always regretted it. Can someone keep an eye out for one for me? I've been searching music store web sites and watching eBay to no avail for about the last six or eight months. If it helps, my regular email address is johnc@deanryan.com. Thanks in advance for any help. |

I've personally never seen a white top Ovation, but then again, I've never seen a million dollars either, but I know it's out their!

Location: Parkersburg, WV | If I'm not mistaken I recall an Ovation catalog from the early 90's which offered several models in white(-6). This included Custom Legends, Legends and the Japanese Pinnacles. I remember wanting a white Legend and years later when I could afford it Ovation didn't offer white as an option. I have to believe that there are some out there and I hope they travel in pairs. |

Location: Scotland | OLG, I've had a couple of things from that dealer in Germany & they seem on the ball. I suspect that listing is up to date. The price on the White-top Balladeer is about $440USD before shipping, tax & import duty, which will be at least another $200. Probably best to wait till another comes up on Ebay.

Appears to be in good shape. Seller says it's 1987, but it's way earlier.
