Maybe he OD'd and has checked into AA (Adamas Anonymous)

They usually get stopped for running a stop sign and are never seen again. The FBI is over there in Juarez digging, looking for 200 missing people, they found eight. Sleeping with the fishies is one of the more pleasant ways of expiring in Mejico. Quote from today's El Paso paper: "With the violent arrest of Isabel Arvide on Friday, the state of Chihuahua has added another journalist to a growing list of men and women who have paid a high price to practice their profession. The national journalist and author of several books was dragged kicking and screaming from the Chihuahua City airport after an armed commando unit overpowered the two Mexican Federal Preventative Police officers assigned to protect her. "The commando unit turned out to be Chihuahua state police officers who refused to show their badges when the federal offficers asked to see them... "At the jail she was strip searched and held incommunicado for several hours before she was allowed to call her family and a lawyer. The charge? Defaming a newspaper publisher in an article she wrote last year alleging corruption on the part of Chihuahua businessmen and officials who denied any wrongdoing... "Arvide wrote a book in 1996, "Muerte en Juarez" about her artist friend Heidi Slaquet's 1995 disappearance. Slaquet was to meet Arvide at the Juarez airport, but neither she nor her taxi arrived. The taxi driver was found dead but Slaquet is still missing." Our mafia has a lot to learn from these guys. Bailey

Watch Fargo the movie 3 times and it will set in. I hope the back doesn't stay out for long. Woz

Seriously, sorry to hear your back in out. I understand that one all too well. The good news is that if you're wife can prop you up in front of the computer, we can all hear about your new axes.

I'm here next to Whorez, the superhighway of illegal substances, headed for (IMHO) New Joisey and populated on both sides of the frontera with machine gun toting road ragers. All you have to worry about where he's at, is losing touch with the real world as you sink into a pleasure induced stupor of music, mescal, and mariachis, as I did a few times on the Baja penninsula some years ago. Except for cliff, most guys there carrying violin cases are mariachis, but I won't let envy creep into my postings. Sorry about your back russ, that sure ruins a vacation trip fast. My stepfather some years ago, had a heart attack in Alabama on a trip with my mother from McAllen, TX to Ohio and had open heart surgery there, he survived but it sure upset everybody's routine. I sincerely hope that it's better and stays that way. Don't hoist any of those 200 pound amps, and lighten up all your guitars like you would a hot rod frame, drill holes through the necks and body and replace all metal parts with titanium including the strings. Replace the tops with balsa wood and attach helium filled balloons to support them on any gigs longer than 10 minutes. (I know I'm risking a charge of practicing medicine without a license, but I'll take the chance to help you out). Bailey
