I have problem with my Ovation MCS-148 Mandoilin in that I need to adjust the action. I would also like to get an owners manual for this mandolin if possible. Anyone one out there willing to send me one or a photocopy of one?

Thanks

The action is way high and puts notes out of tune when played, so I need to do some work on it. I am hoping the manula will tell the exact method. hope...hope....

As far as I'm aware there isn't a specific Mandloin owners manual. My USA mando came with a standard guitar manual. Adjusting the action on the Mandos is the same as the guitars, remove a shim or two from under the pickup. The USA mandolins have graphite reinforced necks rather than adjustable truss-rods, I'm not sure about the Celebrity/Applause versions. If there is a rod you'll find an adjustment nut/socket at the end of the neck, inside the bowl.
