Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | other than the bluebirds, and the brownbird isn't the ukII the only metal frame guitar ovation built? they are really great guitars. i play one almost every day and it is my choice for a gig, hands down. my favorite electric guitar neck. thin and wide. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | There have been a few with aluminum necks, but I think you are correct the UKII's and the 'birds were the only ones with a metal frame/core. |
