The Bulletin Board was brought online for testing on December 15th 2001. The "official" announcement that it existed outside of the testers was at Winter NAMM 2002 in January. The first member to signup after that was January 28th, and the first real posts came on January 31st.
As this board is driven by the members... I declare (unless anyone disagrees) that the Official Anniversary is January 31st.
For the first several months we averaged 2 new members per day, however, in June of 2001 this increased to 3 members per day. At this time, the trend has moved to simply 100 new members per month.
We get traffic from all around the world..
In the past few days, since Monday, there have been 3137 visits (sessions) from folks in 35 of the 50 states, 3 Canadian Provinces, 6 Continents and 14 countries. |
