Not sure if this appropritate or not for the forum, but.....
I had a great experience with Elderly Instruments and thought I'd share it since I've been seeing mostly horror stories on places to purchase. I've had good experiences with MF, but Elderly was superior.
I just got an Elite T from them a couple weeks ago. I paid a little more than MF, but was hoping for better cust service. After recieving my new guitar, I noticed a couple tiny dings. Called them back and they credited me %10 off purchase price. On top of that they were super nice and helpful. Seems like a great place to me.
Anyone else have any comments on them or other good places to purchase from?
Thanks

I visited the store a couple of times while in Lansing, last August. It was an enjoyable experience. They have an interesting catalog and maintain a hand-out listing their used guitars. I got to see many rare string instruments including celtic harps, lap harps, dulcimers, etc. that I've never seen before. I especially enjoyed looking at their extensive selection of Resonator Guitars and banjos. The store was extremely busy (East Lansing is the home of MSU and the store was always full of college students).

I didn't see many Ovations, but I did check out a number of Gibson, Epiphone and Fender models that I was once interested in. None of them suited me as well as either of my Ovations.

I fell in love with a National Resonator with an etched Hawaiian scene. I would love to buy it but it costs over two thousand dollars (yes I'm married).

If you like looking at guitars, this is the great place to visit.

I've dealt with them mostly on buying vintage stuff as well as selling guitars. They've always been great! When something sells they send you the commission check right away. You don't have to wait and eventually call and then get hammered down on the price while you wait some more. Yes this does happen but I'm not naming names. They seem to have a good selection of stuff too, nice Nationals and Martins.

They say it starts at the top and works its way down. Stan Werbin is an A+ guy, his company is too.
