I'm new here and would like to get help finding out if it's rare and or valuable. My father purchased it for me in the late 60's. I've kept it like new ever since. I've thought of trading it at a local music store for something non-electric. They will only give me a few hundred bucks. I thought it would be worth a little more!! Please help!! maidwright

I bought a mint one on ebay for $550. In general a music store will not give you much trade in because they have to then mark it up to sell and the market for semi-hollow 12 string electrics is not too hot these days. You will make out much better selling it yourself on-line. If it's in really good shape you should get at least $500 for it. Your best bet is probably posting it on this site in the Sell/Trade section. Us Ovations nuts will appreciate that it's pretty rare. Dave
