Location: Houston | I did find a pick-guard for my Viper electric at Ovation. It was $50. Thanks for the info. |

Location: SoCal | I know I don't need to tell anybody else this, and that I'm probably the only one ignorant enough not to know this, but the pickguard from Ovation (which comes in a huge box -- probably half of the $50 right there) will have a thin plastic cover on it which you can and should peel off. |

Location: Houston, TX | Guys, let's hope Al doesn't read this thread. I think he's got a thing about playing clean enough so that you never actually have to use the pickguard.
Al - are you in that Hamer group that Miles has pictured in his new studio?
Miles - Jeez, I was droolin. My five year plan is to get a house on 3-5 acres, erect a separate garage-type building, then do what you have done. Nice work, and thanks for the visual. |

Location: Dallas | ....one should leave the plastic peel off intact til it gets really f^#*ed up playing old AC/DC covers... :p I'm jealous, too. I want a big detached shop - but it will be full of automotive & woodworking equipment  |

Location: SoCal | I tried to explain to my wife when we were shopping for our house that what we really needed was a large garage, about 30x40 sq feet, with a drain system 220 wiring and good lighting. We could have a few attached bedrooms, bathrooms and a kitchen.
She didn't listen to me at all. |
