I've always been big on the Kysers.

Kysers are great for 6 strings. Some people like something a little less bulky, but you can't beat them for ease. They don't work well on 12 strings (they have a 12 string model and that's what I'm talking about). For 12's, I use a Shubb.

Bird of Paradise is an excellent Capo and they also make a great slide if you are into that.

Shubb. I have several Shubbs but my original is well over 20 years old & still going strong. It's the best capo design for not making the guitar sound out of tune, plus the rubber sleeve is replaceable, so they'll last a lifetime. You can also do some cool partial capo tricks by cutting up the sleeve or by making the capo miss the sixth string. www.shubb.com

I use a Kyser on my Elite T and it works great. I think the Dunlops look cooler, but your hand can wack into the capo when playing.
The Kysers stay out your way.
And mine is black to match my guitar!

When are you all going to learn to play in positions like us mandolin players. WE DON'T NEED NO STEENKING CAPOS.

Thanks everyone for your valuable suggestions. I should buy one sometime soon. I will post my experience as well.

I bought a Kyser Quick Change. Works very well and easy to use.

I don't think you can beat a Shubb capo for any guitar. Best I've ever used, not bulky very secure, easily ajusted. See musiciansfriend.com
