Location: Warsaw, Indiana | I have a 78 Adamas 1687-8 (I'm original owner), serial 438-94 and my case is shot. There is one on E-bay, my concern is bowl depth. My case from rin to bowl bottom is 5 1/4" ( so is the Adamas). I e-mailed the seller and asked him to measure his case he said it was 6". Did he measure wrong or are there bowl depths that differ 3/4" between models? I have 2 days left on the auction. I need a case that fits right! |

Location: Scotland | The original Adamas was a little deeper than a regular deep-bowl due to the way the top attaches to the bowl, but either an old Brown deep-bowl case, or a current black deep-bowl case will take the guitar. The model number for the current case is 8110, the earlier brown case was 9110 |

Leave it alone, The lack of the wide aluminium rim on the lower part of the case suggests this is a shallow-bowl case & will not take your Adamas

Location: Warsaw, Indiana | Hey Paul,
I need your help once again. That case is from an Ultra Model # 1511, is that the same size as my Adamas?
Thanks,
Buddy |
