| I had a dream, Lordy, Lordy, I had a dream. To find an Ovation, that is. It became a bidding frenzy but in the last 45 seconds I became high bidder and am now (or least soon will be) the proud owner of Al's Elite T!
Cudo's to Al for all his assistance and answering my geetarded questions. Hopefully I'll be able to post a pic soon with me and my new friend, I think the bowl will hide my big belly anyway.

Location: 6 String Ranch | After we hit 1000 members Al and Miles will change the sign in procedure.
You'll have to type in,
"Hi, my name is (Bubba) and I've got Ovation GAS"
and the login confirmation will be
"Hi Bubba, We got GAS too"
and it can go on from there...... |

| Hey zchord I sure did, and true to form it is one schweet sounding player. I love it. When I tried it out I played everything in Ovations line up to a 2001 Collector's and except for the 2001 it seemed to take front stage.
The harmonics that come out of just having those upper holes is amazing. I can understand why these are selling out at most dealers. I'm constantly bending my head and just feeling the notes resonate out. I've even tipped it upside down and listened. I swear I'm hearing things I've never heard before. It may be my naivety but it just makes me want to play more, and more, and more! It is my first O and besides a Gibson ES175, Fender Tele, and my lawsuit Ibanez it's the only guitar I've played alot. I just can't get enough of it. |

Location: Tampa, Florida | I have felt the same way about this guitar's sound when I have gone to the dealer and played it. I went back today for one more helping before I order one (for about $215 less than the local shop wants) from a trusted dealer, and it was gone! It is head and shoulders above all other O's I've played. I did play the 2002 Limited today and it was nice. The treble side's epaulet was peeling off and the dealer said "that will happen if you don't treat them right". Made me feel good about buying a nice guitar from them. Anyway, I really like the look and finish of the T. It is real sharp and I will be ordering it soon. |
