Location: Amarillo, Texas, USA | I'm new to the Ovation board, and I'm looking forward to learning a lot of stuff and exchanging ideas here. I don't own an Ovation, but I'm interested in an electric/accoustic and I think Ovation just might be what I'm looking to plug in. In any case, I learn stuff on any good guitar board.
I do own four accoustics, including a Gibson J-45, Larrivee D-05, Gibson LGO (the ugly one, alpep) and Seagull S-6 Cedar.
Love to listen to all types music (especially FZ) but mainly a country and rockabilly thumper.
So, howdy-do, all, and happy holidays. :D |

Welcome to the board. You'll like it here. Take a day and go through the archives of what's been posted over the last year. It's great reading and you'll learn that there's much more to Ovations than you ever thought possible.
Nice guitar collection you've got. I've enjoyed most of the Larivee's I've played. Great guitars. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Howdy from a neighbor. (Course these non-Texans might wonder that Amarillo and Fort Worth are neighbors). Welcome to the board. Ever make it to the Kerrville Folk Festival? Or any other music gatherings? If there are any other members that head down there, and see this post, let's hear from you. We could have a OFC KFF meeting/jam at the campgounds. |

Location: Amarillo, Texas, USA | Nice to hear from a neighbor, Paul Wag, of which Cowtown is indeed to Amarillo. I haven't gotten to many festivals the last few years, but I'm going to be steppin' out a bit more now and maybe we'll catch each other on the fly, bro! A little pickin' and grinnin' never hurts!
Alpep, never been to Philly in my life (where in the heck does it border Texas?). I was referencing an hfc post on refinishing the LGO and your wise reply convincingly spelled out why it was a stupid idea.
I appreciate the welcomes and look forward to the board. |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | Just a warning to you Texans, we stopped your invasion in the 1820's. Don't let this Llano Estacado go to your head and get lost again and end up in Neuvo Mejico. WE sent the last bunch back by way of Mexico City carrying the ears of those who didn't make it. Other than that sounds like you all play good music.
