Location: Scotland | Spent much of yesterday nursing a serious hangover & watching a couple of the DVD's I got for Christmas. One was "The Best Of The Old Grey Whistle Test" which was a very influential Brit music TV show from the '70's & '80's. On it there's a mid-70's performance by Iggy & the Stooges with one of the guitarists using a white Breadwinner. Then I watched the Jackson Browne DVD "Going Home" which is superb. In one scene Jackson & members of the band are inspecting some guitars, including a Goya/Hagstrom Rangemaster & a Blue Breadwinner. |

I remember that I used to intermittently catch "Old Grey Whistle Test" segments on various PBS stations at ungodly hours of the morning. One of my favorites was was an Al Stewart segment. Unfortunately, I caught it late and only saw the last few minutes. Any such segments on the DVD? Both Al and Peter White were (at the time) big Ovation proponents. |

Location: NJ | There is a video of Jeff Lynne with ELO using a deacon 12 string. Unfortunatley I forgot which tune it is. |
