Location: Tampa, Florida | I am getting a 1778T(black) for Christmas! I have had three O's in the past and have sold them all because I never plugged in and over time wasn't impressed with the unplugged sound. The 1778T, however, sounds fabulous unplugged, and I am very impressed with the new Ovation preamps. The ability to upgrade is a cool feature and the tuner is primo! I am also getting a Takamine AN10S. I hope Charlie is happy that I am contributing to the bottom line this year. Anyway, I think the new elites are a definite step in the right direction for Ovation and I hope they are a sign of things to come. |

Let us know how you like it when it comes, so far all reviews seem favorable. |

Location: The Shop | the 1778-t is a rockin' guitar! the two piece maple neck is rock soild, and I personally like them better than a five piece. Since mahagony is getting harder to find, maybe maple will take over. Good or bad who knows. |

Location: Tampa, Florida | Man, I am waiting for the knock at the door! It shipped on thursday from San Diego (I live in Fla) and I am ready. I have also bought an Ibanez Troubador 25 amp and a Zoom 504II pedal. They are plugged in and waiting to be jammed on! Really looking forward to it. I will definitely post a review here and at Harmony Central. |
