I want to apologize if I appeared to ignore anybody since Tuesday. I was broadsided in an intersection on the driver's side by a pickup that ran a red light. It destroyed my car and knocked me unconscious, X-rays showed no broken bones, but my left side is one big bruise and walking has been painful. I am living on pain pills so I have to be careful that I don't say something silly, but I'm alive and moving if slowly. Don't be surprised if I find this a good excuse to really speak out not my usual timid self.

Merry Christmas

Bailey

Bailey,

Sorry to hear about your accident. My wife and I are going through a similar experience right now. Some moron going very fast in a school zone blew a stop sign and broadsided my wife a couple of weeks ago. She's sore still and our van was totaled. We're just happy that the van was the only fatality.

I hope your accident doesn't effect your playing too much.

Have a Merry X-Mas.

Bradley

good luck hope you feel better. Remember things can always be worse, a High School friend buried his 24 year old daughter last week who died of a rare disease.
be well

Bailey;
Sorry about the car crash. Sounds like you were fortunate to escape really serious injury, or worse. Glad you're still with us. Hope you mend soon and have a Merry Christmas. :D

Some people will do anything to find a way to stay home and play guitar!

Get better Bailey. Our prayers are with you for a fast recovery.

Bailey,
Glad to see you can still type, but a Bluegrass mandolin player "timid" ? That's stretching it quite a bit ;) Be well and Happy Holidays to you all.

Thank you all, your goood comments make me feel better all ready. Bradley, good luck and I pray your wife gets better, I sure sympethize with you two, never can convince anybody that the two minutes they save running a light causes much misery for the innocent victim, El Paso is worse than here. Thanks a bunch for the nice thoughts, I'll probably get a lawyer and I think a great Ovation should be part of a righteous settlement justified by it's therapeautic value.

Happy Holidays

Bailey

Bailey,

Thank you and a very Merry Chrismas to you.

We decided to hire a lawyer only because the other party's insurance also has a lawyer. Her back really hurts now; I hope she recovers soon.

I just wish that some people would realize that for whatever reason they are speeding it just "REALLY ISN'T WORTH IT".

just read this bailey. hope you are on the mend by now. accidents seem to hurt more the older we get. watch those pain pills amigo. i have been taking 60 mg hydrocodone a day since oct 2000 for my back. no bueno amigo. especially be careful if they prescribe oxycontin-------that stuff is really addictive if used for more than a short term. get past that pain as quick as you can buddy, and keep pickin', it is the better than any medicine the doctors have given me.
