Location: Seymour, Tennessee | I just got the word two days ago, my reserve unit is being activated and deployed for active duty.
I sure hope I can finagle some leave so I can make the tour, I have been really looking forward to attending but, knowing how the military works, I doubt I'll get to come.
At any rate, I'll be taking my 88 Collector's Series along again this time.
It's been all over the world (well, somewhere around 20 countries or so of it). I had it with me in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War and on all my subsequent deployments as well.
I hope I'll be able to come for the tour but if not I hope it goes well and I'll just have to be jealous of everybody who gets to go. Somebody better save me a freakin' tour welcome bag or somethin' HA HA HA HA |

Location: Connecticut | I have 19 years in at this point 4 active, 13 full time reserves and the last 2 the normal 1 weekend a month/ 2 weeks a year. I know how you feel been there done that and back. I hope we don't get called up again, wasn't fond of the sand the first time. We just got off of orders from 9-11. I can't say I regret it and I know you feel the same. I will be going on the tour and if there is a welcome package to be had I will definatly pick you up one. E-mail so I can send the goods. Good luck and best wishes. |
