Okay, so I've been away from an Adamas for too long. I recently picked up a 1581-5 with bass-only epis that is seriously bass-heavy. No idea what strings are on it now...something .12 gauge and almost coated feeling. What's the current favorite string of choice for a good punchy AII?

I have the same model Andrew. It IS bass heavy indeed and a set of Elixir Nanowebs (80/20 Bronze) sounds pretty good because the strings themselves are so darn bright. Give it a try!
