Location: Zion, Illinois | OK, my latest GAS buy was this 1613 classical guitar. Anyone else out there have one of these?
What can you tell me about it. My first impression was that it is a top-of-the-line Ovation guitar (that's why I bought it). I need to change strings to find out what this baby and really do.
In the mean time, anyone else out there have one? how do you like it?

p.s. someone remove the stereo jack and the volumn/tone control. How can I get it replaced? |

| 1613 tells me it is a Volume Tone electronics guitar. Relatively older . Anywhere inthe early 80s or older. Nice guitar. I bet it sounds great. Call the customer service at Ovation.
"If you want a truly balanced and equally true classical guitar for AMPLIFICATION. Buy an OVATION". { JOHN WILLIAMS}. Quote from Kevin Ronan, A personal friend. |

Who ever owned this before has gutted some of the electronics. The volumn/tone control is missing as well as 1 stereo jack. I wonder if Ovation has any extras?
Sound wise it sound good so far, but it really needs new strings.

| I am positive they can help in some way. John Budny or Kim Keller at customer service. |

I guess my main question was....
Does anyone else out there own this model of guitar?
And if they do, what are their comments?
So far, I like it. For $275 it was money well spent.
