Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Hey everyone, as we approach 1000 members, I was wondering if there are any other guitar boards like this one on the web. Does Fender are any other manufactuer have a site, and how many members do these groups have? Thanks...Paul Hebert |

Location: NJ | there are a bunch of message boards and fan sites. The Hamer fan club has about 350 members and it has been around about 6 years. as for any others well I don't frequent them so I could not tell you. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I did a quick search and I haven't really found any as active or organized as the Hamer and Ovation Fan Clubs. Many are run by corperate entities which tend to dictate the content, and a few of the others just seem to be places for flaming eveyone elses stuff. There are some useful "information" sites on specific guitars and other gear, but not to many "communities" as such with an active message board. |

you should be happy that this site is a success. I guess now is as good as time as any to mention that we are NOT part of Kaman corporation and recieve NO financial support from them |

I am happy, and my wife and I love our GMC Suburban, a step taken because of advice on this board. I think this is the most informative board on the internet for musicians, and it has given me many hours of pleasure discussing subjects that I couldn't discuss at my local coffee shop (or bar). I'm going to hazard an opinion that the posts are becoming better and better as you approach 1000. (Now send me an Elite T, please).
