Location: NJ | I used to have some many, MANY moons ago!
They were somewhat large, shaped like an equilateral triangle with curved sides and round corners. Black, with the Ovation logo and "Waldo" hot-stamped in gold. There MIGHT be one rattling around in the compartment of my CBalladeer case.

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | Ovation did make several styles of picks and they had different ovation logo's on them.They used to sell them in bulk like fender,martin,etc..
The strange thing is trying to find these things.I had looked for a few years to find some and finally found about 10 of them..You would think something like picks would surface somewhere and you would be able to buy a few but its funny how finding the guitars is easier than finding some stinkin picks.. |

Good question! Every time I get to a music store, I buy about 12 or 15 picks but they gradually seem to disappear. You would think that after 30+ years of doing this, one would have every likely spot filled with enough picks that you would be finding them at least as fast as you lose them, but this is not the case. :(
I think they are made of the same material as dissolving stitches and automatically remove themselves from our sweaty grasp...it's 'job security' for the pick making companies!

What I find amazing is that in the early 80's I bought 3 "graphite" Ovation guitar picks. I still have them. Now many times they were misplaced, but eventually they find their way back into my pick box... |

Isn't Louisiana the home of Marie Leveaux subject of the song "Another Man Done Gone", she's no doubt working on picks and socks in her spare time (of which she has plenty as she was too ugly for a rich man like handsome Jack). Just go down in that swamp and you'll find all those picks (and maybe a fortune) if you're willing to get married.
