i just did something no bueno. i cut my left hand index finger on the thumb side of the tip. it's a sharp knife cut but not really deep it stopped bleeding in minutes. i have 3 gigs tu-w-th and we are recording a live cd this friday. any suggestions on a fast heal cure? i have heard superglue can help.

keeeeerist, the last time we recorded i was battling montezumas revenge. if anybody spots murphy shoot the m.f. for me.

Antibiotic ointment, superglue, sterile & dry bandage, drink lots of water, MSM (if available), no use or stress to the injury, and PRAY LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!(because it does)
Good Luck!

i put some slo zap high density superglue on it, and it is drying aS I AWKWARDLY TYPE THIS. i got out of this afternoon's practice, but i've gotta at least chunk along for a couple of sets tonight. the "no use" thing isn't an option. i'll have to up the rum ration and see if i can keep it off the strings as much as possible. the superglue is in my gig bag.

i'm going to start buying ready made salsa from now on-----wait a minute, thats what brought montezuma knocking last time.

this super glue has already turned into a tough callouslike cover. maybe it will hang in there.

Stevie Ray Vaughan allegedley used to manufacture new fingertips for himself on a nightly basis by pouring superglue on his right forearm and sticking his left-hand fingertips to it. After it had set he'd rip the left-hand off complete with a layer of forearm skin for that night's show.
Some men pay good money to have that kind of stuff inflicted on them.
