Anyone had good experience with the EMG line?? I've had some experience with the EMG 85s and 89s but I'm looking for some replacement pickups for a guitar I play mainly jazzy/blues and perhaps some soft rock on. How are the EMG 60s? Are they good for this application or would the 85s be better?

personally I'd stick with passive pickups especially with the styles you're talking about.

I don't want to sound like a walking (or typing) billboard, but check out Bill Lawrence pickups. I have a set of L465 in one of my GP's and I gotta say I'm more than happy with it.

That's my $.02 (U.S.)
