Location: Utah | There is a ringing in the images on the VIP in my 2007BCS. It doesn't sound right to me, nor does it sound like the sound samples on the Ovation web site. Does it sound right to you? If you have a 2007BCS does it sound like your guitar?

The first and last chords are played with no image added. The middle chords are played with each successive image at 100%.
If this is the way a guitar sounds through the finest mics in a state of the art studio... :eek: |

Location: Omaha, NE | That's not what my ear hears on my Koala with the VIP. The images should sound much woodier than that. |

2) 2007BCS recorded via dynamic mic
3) Deep bowl cutaway Ovation via large diaphragm condenser mic
4) Deep bowl non-cutaway Ovation via a different large diaphragm condenser mic
5) Deep bowl Custom Legend recorded via dynamic mic |
