A couple of things....

I just spent a little time tonight play my Elite 1537. One thing I just LOVE about this guitar is the way it sounds when I play it a bit "hard". I swear, the harder I pick, the better it sounds.

Two, just spotted this on EBay, a sundburst 1537...

A sunburst Elite 1537

I just LOVE causing GAS!!!!

Thanks Bradley

I'll see to it that you are called before a war crimes tribunal for this kind of torture and inhumane treatment of fellow members.

Bradley, to bad that sunburst Elite has finsh cracks in it. Seems the cracks show up better in the sunburst finish. Does your Elite have any finish cracks?....Paul Hebert

You guys are killin me. It's like Chinese water torture ...I was just playing my 1537 Elite, My 1537 Elite is the best guitar ever, I love my 1537 Elite, If I was to own 1 guitar it would be a...well you get the idea. Then you post links to e-bay 1537 Elites that I cannot check-out from my work computer, and probably couldn't afford anyway!

The worst thing about this torture is it's self-induced, and I keep coming back to it day after day after day, AND I LIKE IT!!!

Keep up the torture guys, someday I will be chiming in right along side you!

p.s. I refinanced my home last month, and have a TON of remodeling projects to do this summer. I am working on "The Boss" already, paving the road to a nice little reward for all my hard work and penny pinching along the way! Perhaps I'll be enjoying some "leaves" early this fall ;)

Nope, no finish cracks at all! If I hold the guitar to the light and move it back and forth I can see some sort of ripples caused by the braces, but I really can't feel anything when I rub my hand across it.
