Location: UK | I'm new to Ovations and I'm intrigued by what the internal layout looks like.
On the back of my Elite Special is a round plate with a single screw. Can I take this off and look inside? Are they any problems with trying to take this off or any issues I should be aware of before trying this?
TIA for any responses

Location: Minneapolis, MN | If you ever attempt to adjust the truss rod, you'll have to remove this panel. Be aware that once you remove the screw holding it on, you'll have to slide the panel around a little to remove it. Good luck and have fun! :) |

The dry wall cutter might work but I could go the whole hog, get my jigsaw out and cut a really large access hole in the back! |

Seriously ;) you may have already found out that the screw loosens a spring steel "X" on the back of the access circle. Once you get through looking around inside (be carefull when you pull your head out that you don't get your ears caught on the bowl-really smarts) don't tighten the screw to tight or you may distort the cover! (you may have read that in an earlier post)
