There are a lotta guitars I wish I had only because they are worth a heck of a lot more now than what I got outa them. I just didn't like them. Don't really miss them.
65 Rick 360/12
69 LP Std.
EB-3
66 Strat
74 SG Custom
Mid 70's Gibson Explorer and V
Hofner Beatle Bass

Then there are the ones I miss.
Gibson ES-140
65 Rev Firebird I
Late 60's-early 70's Fender P-Bass and Jazz Bass(although I ended up with a 62 Jazz and a 63 P-bass)
74 Gibson SG Del.
Red Fender XII (traded for an older Sunburst one. It was what I wanted , but still wish i had kept the red one)
My first 2 Ovations. Both 1111-4's. One with Kluson tuners.

I got really lucky. A guy about 30 miles from Nashville had them on Graigslist about 2 wk after I picked up the 1111. He had taken them from one of his ovation when the neck got broken. I wish I had done a before and after photo of it. Doesn't even look like the same git.

In this era of economic turmoil, I thought that I would update this wonderful thread...

I have sellers' remorse at about the time when I am packing up the guitars. I try to de-tune them down one step, but still have the strings in 'relative tune' to each other. So this gives me one last time to play with them.
I just packed-up the S771 today and sent it down the road, and that got me thinking. Cuz I am always saying to myself...
"This is a Nice Guitar! Damn! Either I am a Really Nice Guy, or Really Stupid!"

These are the one's that have left home since I first posted this thread...

Seems like they leave at the rate of about one-a-month...
(Nowhere near the Trader, but...)
I always try to think that I am always making more room for the next guitar.
And hey, I can only play so many at one time.
