It's not so much that I can't do it, I was just hoping someone would whip something up so I didn't have too. The "OFC 2003 Tour" section will be ready to go next week, so if someone doesn't send me something by monday or tuesday, I'll just whip something up. |

Have fun, live life, consort with your family, travel if you can, this board is only a hobby and you don't have to sacrifice anything important to mollify this bunch. We all get older and wiser no matter what you do, and our visit here is a gift that can be taken away at any time.

The "wiser" happens when you realize that no bastard in the world can change the way you live if you don't let them. You don't owe anybody a god damn thing, and when you are giving people something that is good and pleasant, and they don't appreciate it, tough shit, kiss my ass, and let the sonofabitches provide something better if they are so god damned smart. But it beats the hell out of the alternative! |

Middle age may be tough but show me a teeny board that packs the wisdom and info that this "middle aged" production does. Not flashy, but the top of the world in content, that's why we are here and not fawning over some idiotic teen age imitation of a topless dancer as if that was the ultimate in entertainment. Does the Mickey Mouse club grown up have any societal meaning. What if Brittany's sexual parts are suddenly seen, will that change pop music? |

You know, if I could be a younger age (as I approach 50), I'd only go back about 10 years. I wouldn't be a kid again. But in my late 30's, my body hadn't started protesting, women from 25 to 55 were interesting in me (and I was just starting to realize that women 25 were boring compared to 40-55), and I had all the energy in the world.
Now I've slowed down half a step, but all things considered, I count myself lucky. I don't think I'm gonna complain about the big 50 coming up. After all, I'm only a third of the way thru my life. Got a long way to go still.
And lots of Ovations to still play and own. And my wife said that I can get a Folklore Deluxe after the new carpet for the house. Life is very very good. |

50 is nothing, you haven't even reached the speed limit 55, I just saw an adult Katheryn Hepburn win another Oscar at a much older place in life. 50 is the only time in life where you know what you're doing and you still can. I was still being pursued by groupies at 50 and had to quit music to save my marriage (these weren't virgin groupies).
