This Ultra GP thing is getting crazier everyday.

I wish Josh Homme would start playing 20-year old Ibanez Roadstar II's with a broken pickguard and a bad DIY paintjob.

This would certainly help me a lot :-)

How about a UK2 for $1400, better deal and better guitar. OK, OK, OK, $1300.

As you can see by my member number I was here before all these Josh Homme wanna bees came along, just because I don't post I do take an intrest what people say on this board. As for me looking to buy an Ultra GP I came into a little bit of money of late and think of no better way of spending it a gem, It’s that or I will drink it.

Anyway I still looking for the Ultra GP somebody out there gotta sell me one.

We're all pulling your leg, but nobody's putting you down for wanting a GP. Nobody can tell you you're right or wrong for wanting a particular guitar. I've never played one, but from everything I've read, the GP is a terrific guitar. What's amazining is that more of the Ovation electrics aren't selling in the same price range.

Go for it.

Tyronehell, you'll probably read about here first, and keep watching eBay. I would also keep an eye on local pawn shops. They are an odd phenom, but if you have the jack, you won't be disappointed. It's been about two weeks since I sold one, and again I'm feeling a little bummed and will probably jump on another when it comes 'round.

Just realized the UltraGP is like most of my ex-girlfriends/wives. Kindof fun to have around, but kindof expensive, but after they are gone... you need another to fill the void. Of course this is my Chinese food philosophy too.

Yeah if anyone is selling a GP for $1,500 let me know. I'll buy - especially if it's a honey burst.

What if I take my 1970s Arai LP copy and reshape the headstock and body? Would that be worth something?
