Location: NW of Philadelphia | Unlike my electrics (glossy), the Ovation necks seem unsealed. Do I need to condition them in any way (like the fretboard)? If so, with what? |

Location: Utah | I use a fretboard cleaner/conditioner that came new with an Alvarez-Yairi 31 yrs ago. It doesn't need much, but a little TLC every now and again helps keep the wood from drying out or getting too grimy. I believe it is some kind of mineral oil product. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Some of the backs of Ovation necks are glossed, others are satin. I've never done anything to either type other than clean them with a rag every once in awhile. |
