And wearing sunglasses too! I gave her the benefit of the doubt & assumed it was the shape of the tuning knob making her look, uhh, robust. Sorta like the "House of Mirrors" they used to have at carnivals when I was a kid. /\/\/

As for the repair job, structurally & functionally, it may be OK. Aesthetically & cosmetically, it could stand improvement; "I liked the way it (finish) looked..." BALDERDASH, he ran out out energy and patience!! I'd say the opening price is about right, and probably won't get much more than that, if it does sell.

Here is the "before" picture! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33029&item=3550319058 I went back through the feedback & found when he bought it. Gotta be the same guitar, it's got a busted headstock with bolts & a burn on the case. Different girl in the reflection though. (this'ns nekked!) /\/\/ (amature p.i.)

As for the nekkid lady....you've been missing too many sessions with Uncle Sigmund, huh? Jeez, and the guy didn't savor the fruits of his labors very long, either. That really seems suspicious to me. What did he find while doing the repairs (euphemism, intended)?

Even though it's a cack-handed repair it'll have taken a while to do, even to that standard. Break $40 profit down to an hourly rate for the time he spent "fixing" it & he's out of pocket. Which is nothing more than he deserves.

It looks like he used the full gallon of it, whatever it was. It's a good thing he didn't spring for the steel wool, it would have taken an easy ten bucks worth to smooth that sucker out & that would have really dipped into the ol' profit margin. I have to admit, I'm starting to worry that I might have a weak moment & buy the damned thing for $105, just to get a better look at it. One thing's for sure, the tuners are plenty "shinny", even if I'm the only one that can see the girls. Hmm. Maybe the girls are some of the flashbacks the government promised I'd get if I ate those little pieces of paper back in the 60's. I've been waiting for years & I think I got cheated. They promised me an occasional free buzz for the rest of my life for a one dollar investment. So far they haven't delivered. I'm beginning to think they lied. Which reminds me: I talked to the Sheriff tonight at the bar about playing music together. My wife & I stopped for dinner & Jack must have had the same idea. At any rate, over dinner we decided we're both going to be too busy deer hunting for the next few weeks to meet up, so we'll get together after the season is over. /\/\/
